The Library now has “Essential Med Notes for Medical Students 2012” available for loan. Formerly titled “The Toronto Notes” this is an up-to-date concise and comprehensive 1400 page review of 29 medical specialties. It is revised annually by the University of Toronto graduating medical class under the guidance of leading experts. New features of the book are:
· Quick reference cards with ACLS algorithms
· 50 OSCE practice stations with history and physical exam checklists
· Over 20 new original medical illustrations
Also available for loan is the “Clinical handbook” which accompanies this text. The handbook is full of handy tips on commonly encountered clinical problems on the ward.
